YOU CANNOT NEGOTIATE PEACE WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS COME TO KILL YOU

Today's article focuses on the political component of the Kremlin's support abroad.

Political circles that directly or indirectly support the Kremlin on the official level can be grouped geographically as follows:

     -  China (Special Representative Li Hui [1])
     -  Some African countries led by South African President Ramaphosa [2]
     -  European countries/leaders: Hungary (Prime Minister Orbán [3]) and the Vatican (Pope Francis [4 - 6])
     -  Some Latin American countries led by Brazilian President Lula [7].

They promote the following messages for global community:
     a) the Ukrainian offensive operation failed, it is impossible to defeat the russian federation
     b) Ukraine must sacrifice its territory and citizens for the sake of "peace"
     c) Western countries and Ukrainians do not seek peace in contrast to the russian federation.
An interested reader can find confirmation of the aforementioned statements by studying the material in the links.

Additional information support for these messages is created by some world media. Western publications on the topic of the Kremlin's "peacemaking" and the "failure" of the Ukrainian offensive operation are prepared in Moscow and distributed through agents of influence in these countries.

Such articles constantly refer to the anonymous sources from the governments of Western countries that corroborate all Kremlin wishes which points to the "hand of Moscow". As a rule, these materials are paid for by Kremlin, FSB, and GRU of the russian federation and made public through the corrupt journalists.

How exactly do these statements and actions help putin?

putin understands that he will not be able to seize the entire territory of Ukraine at this stage. In addition, Kremlin cannot ignore large losses in manpower and equipment. Therefore, putin wants to freeze the conflict and consolidate the occupied territories in the so-called "peace" treaty.

This will make it possible to sell such a treaty to the domestic Russian public as a "victory" and gain time to rebuild the Russian army.

Likewise, it is critical for Moscow to restore access to Western technologies and financial resources. Quite a few Western companies continue to do business in the russian federation, and even more are waiting for an opportunity to resume their activities when it arises.

If the negotiations take place now, then putin will achieve his goal –  to get a pause before a new invasion into Ukraine for its complete destruction and the subsequent start of preparations for the invasion to Europe and the conflict with the USA.

Moscow's aggression against Ukraine cannot be resolved through diplomatic negotiations. As Golda Meir, a native of Kyiv and an Israeli politician, said: "You cannot negotiate peace with someone who has come to kill you."

Dialogue with the Russian side is only possible
     a) subject to withdrawal of occupation troops to the borders of Ukraine according to 1991,
     b) returning of all Ukrainian prisoners and citizens deported to the russian federation and
     c) bringing war criminals to the court of the international tribunal.
Any other alternatives will only lead to more casualties in the future.

Political and informational pressure on Ukraine regarding concessions to russia  will increase. Therefore, how exactly the war ends will depend on the public opinion of Ukrainian allied countries. The Ukrainian military sacrificed their lives for victory and a new, fairer world on Earth. Their lives are worth more than the illusion of "peace" and "stability" in exchange for Ukrainian statehood.

P.S. This is the second article in a series “Who helps putin and russian imperialism achieve its goals”. Our first article about the support of Moscow's military machine can be found following the link https://standukrainegbg.blogspot.com/2023/06/business-with-devil-or-who-in-west.html.
